Bio: Dennis Carmichael is a principal with EDAW and has designed dozens of award winning planned communities, parks, and waterfronts. His work has been published in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Land, Southern Living, and Process Architecture. A Fellow in ASLA, Dennis is currently serving as its President.
Artist Statement: An aerial one-point perspective of the competition-winning submission for Pontchartrain Beach in New Orleans shows the creation of a canal system to unify and animate the village.
