Bio: Jerry Mathiason is a photographer specializing in documentary photography of historic buildings and industrial sites. He also teaches a series of photography courses at North Hennepin Community College.

Artists Statement: This panoramic photograph is a view of the St. Anthony Falls area of downtown Minneapolis. It was taken as a series of single images from the Pillsbury “A” Mill overlooking the river in February of 2005. The individual images were composited digitally and printed with archival inkjet dyes. The image represents a nearly 180-degree view of the river.
