Bio: Joseph Ragsdale is a Landscape Architect and Assistant Professor tracing our industrial and productive landscapes. He was a Fellow at the American Academy in Rome in 2003-2004.

Artist Statement: The S.P.Q.R. series of books and prints trace the time, character, and fonts of landscapes in and around Rome. An A to Z recording of distinct places, such as Ostia Antica, writes volumes about the landscape.
