Artist’s Statement
"A lull in the traffic steadied the roadway long enough to allow the eight second exposure I needed for this photograph of the north tower of the Golden Gate Bridge. What surprised me upon greatly enlarging the image while I was working on it, is the wonderful art deco geometry in the bridge's design down to the finest details— that which drivers never see but a photographer does."
