Artist’s Statement
"The two prints are views of a light project to be installed Fall 2007 in the Tenders House on the 14th Street Bridge at the entry to Washington, D.C. A series of kaleidoscopic constructs create an illusion of light and color through refractions within each of the six windows of this historic drawbridge house. The two prints show contrasting studies of night and day views of the fiber optic surfaces and dayglow painted acrylic strands."
