Carol Johnson is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Carol R. Johnson Associates, Inc. For 49 years she has maintained a diversified professional practice in the areas of landscape architecture and site planning. In October of 1998, Johnson received the ASLA Medal, the Society's highest honor. In January of 2000, she received a Gold Medal from the Massachusetts Horticultural Society in recognition of her eminent horticultural accomplishments and outstanding service to the Society.
