Frank Lloyd Wright and his fellow Prairie School architects designed many buildings in the Chicago area. This 1920 photograph shows a building at the entrance to a neighborhood park. Prairie-style features include windows grouped to form a horizontal band, overhanging eaves, and wood strips.
