Nancy LaPerla Bemis
Nancy LaPerla Bemis is an accomplished sales and marketing professional who brings keen strategic insight and creative vision to her professional and volunteer endeavors. Nancy spent over 20 years as an executive in the cable television industry as VP of Marketing and senior VP of Advertising and Sponsorship sales for AMC Networks. Nancy currently serves on the New Canaan Land Trust executive board, the board of the New Canaan Garden Club, and on the grant review and annual appeal committees for the New Canaan Community Foundation. In 2020 she co-chaired the first-ever New Canaan Sculpture Trail, an outdoor art exhibition created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. The months-long event drew over 10,000 visitors to the eight sculpture sites and served to generate significant awareness and funds for the Land Trust. Nancy is also marketing VP for Benchmark IT, a regional technology recruitment firm she owns with her husband, John.
