Oct 13: Shaping the American Landscape: Spotlight on the Tennessee Valley

National speakers will provide a context for some of the most celebrated landscapes in Nashville and the immediate region including Nashville’s Centennial Park, Belle Meade subdivision, Warner Parks and Cheekwood among other places.

The program will include presentations in the morning; a catered lunch; and an afternoon tour of Bryant Fleming’s masterwork of Country Place era landscape architecture at Cheekwood.

Speakers will explore the lives and built legacies of the designers and stewards of these nationally significant historic designed landscapes ranging from estates and subdivisions to parks and scenic reservations.
