Tour, Saturday, May 8

9:30-4:30

An all day excursion highlights both public and private gardens. This includes a Fort Worth tour to Philip Johnson Water Gardens (1974) and Lawrence Halprin’s Heritage Park (1976) and a Dallas tour to two private gardens. Led by Douglas Reed who is currently working at both of these residences, the Dallas tour includes the former Henry and Patty Beck House (1964, Philip Johnson with Enslie “Bud” Ogelsby), and The Greenlee House (1983, Edward Larabee Barnes with Armand P. Avakian; 1985 addition, Barnes with Howard Glazbrook III). A box lunch is included.
