Lisa Gimmy, ASLA, LEED AP

Ms. Gimmy came into landscape architecture with an extensive background in art and art history, and interest in art and architecture continue to be the basis for her work in landscape design. Since founding her firm in 1992, she has directed the design of landscapes for campuses, hotels, mixed-use commercial developments, and many private gardens. Ms. Gimmy received her undergraduate degree in art history from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her masters in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University. She was awarded the Charles Eliot Traveling Fellowship, the highest honor bestowed by the department. Her work has been recognized with awards of excellence and her projects have been published in numerous magazines. She has also taught landscape design at the university level.
