Claudia Bonaccorsi - Events and Cultivation Associate
Claudia was born and raised in the city of Chicago, but her love for immersive cross-cultural experiences has carried her to many regions of the U.S., as well as Europe and South America. Her love for the earth, sustainable food systems, and Italian language and culture guided her undergraduate studies; she holds a BA in Environmental Studies, a minor in Italian Studies, and a Certificate in Food Studies from Dickinson College.
As a determined environmental steward, Claudia has pursued experiences at many mission-based non-profits with foundations in environmental advocacy, education, and community engagement. Claudia has explored her deep interest in the relationship between humanity and our earth through professional experiences, art, and photography, including a grant project for which she, along with her co-leader, received the Davis Project for Peace in 2022, completing a series of collaborative community murals across the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Prior to joining the TCLF team, Claudia moved to the Northern region of Italy, Lombardia, where she taught English to young students and deepened her connection to the Italian language and culture. As part of the TCLF team, Claudia now contributes to the organization’s mission through event and cultivation support.
