Aileen Beringer – Director of Public Engagement

Aileen Beringer works to ensure the smooth operation of several of TCLF’s public programs, including traveling exhibitions, conferences, Garden Dialogues, Walks & Talks, What's Out There Weekends, and the annual silent auction. Before joining TCLF, she helped raise more than $7 million for non-profits nationwide as a fundraising-event consultant. She has also worked as a gallery director in the Washington, D.C., area and has helped build social media strategies and programming for several arts organizations, including Touchstone Gallery and American University Museum’s Alper Initiative. After founding the student government at the Corcoran College of Art + Design (now the Corcoran School of Art and Design at George Washington University), she discovered a love of advocating for historic resources and for protecting artistic integrity. Aileen holds a B.F.A. in fine art photography from the Corcoran College of Art + Design and a M.A. in arts management from American University.
