Dawn Searcy is a leader in the development of Fondation Trahan, a private operating foundation dedicated to the stewardship of significant cultural landscapes, architectural works, and art collections. The foundation’s work integrates preservation, ecological research, exhibitions, and public programming, with initiatives in Louisiana and internationally. Through this effort, she is engaged in building a new model for cultural institutions, one that connects land, art, and architecture as a framework for public engagement and long-term stewardship.

In parallel with this work, she is engaged in advancing cultural and civic projects in collaboration with Trahan Architects, contributing to strategic partnerships and the development of institutionally significant work across the United States and internationally.

Prior to her work in philanthropy and the built environment, Dawn held senior leadership roles in the automotive finance sector, where she led regional growth strategy, managed national partnerships, and developed performance programs focused on revenue expansion and operational efficiency.

Her work is grounded in a commitment to advancing interdisciplinary approaches to stewardship and to expanding the role of cultural institutions in shaping how people understand and engage with the built and natural environment.
