Karen Ford

Saturday, June 1st, 9 to 11:30 | Portland

A: Judd/Fitch Garden and Noble Residence
Karen Ford, Landscape Architect

Two in-town gardens show how much can be accomplished on a budget. The horticultural exuberance of the Judd Fitch site, a “gardener’s garden,” features a rich mix of textures, colors and loads of edibles. The Noble garden is low budget, low maintenance and high appeal – a tranquil spot with elegant grasses, pert groundcovers and a tender hide away.

Steven Koch

Saturday, June 1st, 1:30 to 3pm | Portland

B: Denman Residence
Steven E. Koch, Koch Landscape Architecture

The Denman Residence offers great variety - a Victorian English Garden, a kitchen garden, terraces, and a meadow. Exquisitely designed and laid stonework can be seen in the stairs, paths and walls that delineate the garden features. Terracing provides elevation changes and vistas across the entire property.
