Monument Circle Art Fair Returns for 11th Year at Newly Reopened Monument

Monument Circle was included in an 1821 plan by surveyor Alexander Ralston, and an 1821 plat called it “Circle Street,” while Ralston modeled the capital's Mile Square grid after Pierre Charles L'Enfant's plan for Washington, D.C., according to the Cultural Landscape Foundation.
