Mary Ellen Flanagan, ASLA

Mary Ellen Flanagan's design work spans from Rhode Island to the Virgin Islands and Florida. She has collaborated on many residential, commercial, and historic landscapes including the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center, the Roger Williams Park Historic Japanese Garden Restoration Project, a 65 acre working farm and a private marina, along with numerous private estates. Ms. Flanagan was also a landscape design consultant with the City of Providence at Roger Williams Park, a 435 Acre Victorian Era park for over 7 years. In 2001, Ms. Flanagan became Quinque Foundation Fellow, based in Edinburgh, Scotland, with Historic Scotland, Royal Botanic Garden, and the National Trust of Scotland. She served on the design committee for the Providence Waterfront Park and is a former President of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Ms. Flanagan received her Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Rhode Island and resides in Florida.
