This Oak tree-studded hillside landscape designed by Pamela Burton & Co retains an undeveloped, elegant wildness while expertly accommodating an active family lifestyle. A mostly native plant palette surrounds the varied outdoor living spaces, which include a kitchen and built-in lounge area, fire pit, spa, and extra-long pool that suits both lap swimming and pool parties.

Spaces for active and passive recreation abound. The lower terrace houses a home gym, basketball field, and partial football field, while a decomposed granite pathway lined with grasses and Fortnight Lilies lures hikers through the Oak and Toyon hillside with views over the San Fernando Valley. Tipuana trees planted along the Red Fescue-covered slopes cast shade on adjacent viewing steps. Throughout the site, stone slabs mitigate changes in grade. On-site spring water is channeled down a board-formed concrete retaining wall through terraces planted with Gingko and Ferns.
